Colour: A season of shades, tints and tones opens THIS Saturday.

Installation is well underway and it's looking even more vibrant than we hoped. 🌈

Come on down on Saturday and see the sea mouse, Lichtenstein, disco ball, Kandinsky, dragon, Marilyn Monroe, Hokusai and many more bursts of colour.
Café Tullie's new menu launches this Saturday 20 September. 👀

So we can get our systems ready and get all the new menus out, Café Tullie will close slightly early on Friday 19 September at 2pm. Back open as normal from 9.30am Saturday.

We can't wait to see what you think!
Enjoy the animatronics of course, but also take the time to properly appreciate Luis V. Rey's detailed & vibrant illustrations. Read the panels & learn about the dinosaur renaissance & the realisation that dinosaurs were not only related to birds, but that birds are the last remaining dinosaurs. 🐧🦕🤯
Cumbrian schools may have gone back now, but our exhibition gallery will be filled with dinosaurs until Sunday 14 September.

Adult dinosaur enthusiasts, now is your time.
5. should read Small White Dog BY John Charlton - the dog probably wasn't called John Charlton, though we don't have anything to prove otherwise.

Visitor travels from Denmark to see how her Roman basket measures up

A few weeks ago we had a rather special visit from Lisbeth and Ole, who had travelled with their grandchildren from Denmark for an historic trip taking in Hadrian's Wall, Edinburgh and Lindisfarne.
