I just renewed my "America the Beautiful" pass for 2026...well, it's good through November 2026.
My local NPS site still has some of this year's cards so I'm spared the ignominy of carrying one around with
/his/ face on it.
If I manage any NPS travel in Dec 2026, I'll pay out of pocket.

So, suppose one has a fresh cherry pie that looks and smells scrumptious, and then proceeds to cut a small slice out. Can one work the pie height down a bit, smush the gap closed and smooth over the edges, and thereby hide any signs of the removed slice?

I've caught myself transposing letters when typing on a full keyboard, and it's usually my right hand hitting a key before one that my left hand should've hit. Next thing I know, I'm googling typing sites and find a left-hand words typing test. I hit 63 WPM. I'll take it. 😂

Q8. Caves are dark with some very tight spaces. I got a demo of the total darkness in Jewel Cave NP. That didn’t bother me. But, the thought of squeezing into a really tight crevice or passageway does. Who has or would brave cavern areas beyond the main chambers? #parkchat
