Trump’s new law trying to close down health care providers who provide abortion care may take away life-saving primary care and treatment for common chronic diseases in rural areas around the country. Medicaid is a big part of the revenue for rural clinics and without federal funding they may close.

Trump wants more climate wrecking gases, called HFCs in our air. Even the industry that uses them objects! HFCs are more potent than carbon in gassing up climate change. So of course, Trump’s EPA is pulling back on a recent rule that requires phasing out HFCs.

Trump’s Supremes took one more step toward making him king. The Court said Trump could fire a commissioner for any reason, stripping away Congressional protections that firings must be because a commissioner screwed up big. But the Supremes ignored their own precedent and let Trump have his way.
