If I were elected President after the Fascist Dictator, the first think I'd order is the demotion of the new ballroom and East Wing, and have the old one rebuilt from historic blueprints. And scrape all the tacky gold off the walls of the Oval Office.

When I was in San Jose for Worldcon and walked past the Adobe HQ building, I Slacked a pic back to work. Everyone agreed I should start chucking rocks through the windows asap for them. They were willing to pay my bail.

Nobody hates software subscription models more than IT professionals. The hoops I had to jump through for installing Adobe on Dept Computers using the Adobe educational licensing system was horrible. We ALL hated Adobe.

More evidence there is no justice system and we’re a banana republic. The Orange Idiot has just commuted fraudster and thief George Santos’ prison sentence. There are no rules that affect you if you’re a Nazi Republican.

I never buy the store brands in grocery stores. People tell me they're made by the same companies that do the name brands, but their quality control isn't the same. You're getting the reject stuff. I've easily seen the difference in quality.

yeah, but I'm not really a Linux person, though I admit it's far superior to anything Microsoft can put out. I'd be all Mac but I have some specialized Astro and Ham software that's windows only, and being retired now, don't have free access to windows to run under a VM. Too cheap to pay OTC.

Great, I read this after letting my laptop Win 11 upgrade this morning. I'll have to learn if it can be disabled. This is why my desktop is on 10, and I have extended support for it. Macs will become more and more my main OS, leaving Win for gaming.
