all body parts and a few extras are done being primed which only leaves the beanbag, hair, base and the see through wings left to print and prime but before that i need to get the silver for the arm and leg right so for the time being i’ll be painting spoons lol(forgot pic on last post lol).

hopefully later today i will start making the extra parts to the upcoming johnny 5 model, unfortunately i cant find a ribbon cable thats small enough for the battery belt but i will try and replicate it

expanding foam is way to unpredictable for me especially dealing with fragile detailed parts so i found soft foam that has squares marked on it so you can pick the squares out to match the shape
and cos it’s soft it shouldn’t damage the paintwork

im considering selling some of my models now that i have a good way to send stuff safety without breaking, im currently going to send my first resin model over seas and if it arrives in tact i will start listing the models im selling on here or possibly discord so keep an eye out

after some thinking i have decided that after my current commission i will be making a better version of my necronomicon ex mortis, i did want to put animatronics in it to make the face move but i think it may be too difficult and i dont want the front cover too thick

nothing beats the smell of minis/models getting a bath in pure dettol lol hopefully the model im painting will be mostly paint free by tomorrow and yes you can use dettol as a paint stripper for acrylic and spray paint (depending on what spray you use) and it doesn’t seem to harm plastic models

ive never had prints effected by moisture as resin prints in my experience aren’t affected but spraying rattle can paint is another matter lol

the worst thing a model painter can encounter is when it’s raining outside so the air moisture screws the primer spray 🤬🤬😡
