Hi! I'm Trevor. I make board games, code websites, and think the lives of others have equal value to my own.

Ideas welcome, hatred is not.

The reimagining was not about the creature and the second act.

The reimagining was about the reframing the movie as about an abuse of parenthood, rather than abuse of science.

And it was a very good movie.
Rephrasing the movie as an abuse of parenthood rather than an abuse of science was genius.
I am disappointed it's been over 25 years since Korn's "Freak on a Leash", but I've yet to see the phrase on a little dog sweater.
How dare we argue our point about tariffs on his TV using the words of noted communist Ronald Reagan.
del Toro's Frankenstein was *phenomenal*.

See it in the theatre if you can.
Finally, Canada gets its own Justin McElroy podcaster!

I hope this isn't like the Vancouver Grizzlies all over again.
I don't know who this Reagan guy was but he sounds like some kind of communist.
Would also be the biggest "You fucked up, Doug" statements he could make. (And an admission Canada's auto industry is toast)
We can't say the C-A-N-A-D-A word in front of the baby.
He's going to finish his throne room, then tear down the rest of the white house.

5 bucks says the ballroom will be gold coloured from the outside when finished.
Tariffs are to Trump as the One Ring was to Gollum.
Near the end of the song are the lyrics:

"So, if you go to Washington, its buildings clean and nice,

Bring a pack of matches, and we'll burn the White House twice!"

Which was all fun and games and now the asshat has already destroyed a third of the building himself.

That was our job, dammit!
In Canada we have a dumb song called "The War of 1812" by "Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie", which recounts the history of a two century old war of America failing to conquer Canada.

The details of The War of 1812 are best not mentioned in front of Americans, as it would be embarrassing for them.

Nighttime Skytrain from Burnaby to New Westminster.

From Production Way-University to New Westminster Station in 12 minutes, compressed to 18 seconds.
Once more into the game developer breach. We love this game but it feels like this awful combination of world and personal events have lead to persistent delays.
We're at @protocon-bc.bsky.social the weekend of November 8th, and will have several demos of our pirate semi-coop adventure "Tis Mutiny!". We look forward to sailing with new crew soon!
