Smith in turn, sounds elated, “I’m just getting started.”

She nods. They were fine to continue, and with another filling out their numbers, the next fight should be even easier. The newcomer, Park, fills them in on the others before they -

- corridor. Armigers may not always run, but Alpha did. Alert and prepared, her rifle slips back into her hands as she turns to see another Spartan. There’s little relief from her as they approach. Smith offers a hand to a downed Clark, who seems a little worse for wear.

“Few bruises, nothing -

- the grip on her impromptu weapon she dives on the off-balance armiger. Guiding her blade through the flickering light of its head, it finally falls silent.

She spends a moment making sure it stays that way.

Smith and Clark are just finishing theirs off when footsteps reverberate down the -

- at the now weakened arm. Light and wire spill from the parted joint, shrieking and sparking more violently as she wrenches the arm from its socket. Not skipping a beat, she knocks it off its feet with a sweeping bat to the chest. Alloy meets alloy in a clash of sparks. Relinquishing -

- armiger. As her blade finally manages to slip through, ripping through the exposed joint as a slam resounds through the corridor. Clark manages to drag his to the floor with Smith instantly upon it as he drives his combat knife into its chest.

Deflecting a deadly illuminated blow, Kaja grabs -

- doesn’t go far. Immediately reappearing to her left, it begins a flurry of precise blows. Kaja manages to keep up, dodging and deflecting each strike as she attempts to weave around and strike at its now weakened shoulder.

Peripherally she’s aware of Clark and Smith struggling with their -

- unyielding torso. A distraction. One that is immediately followed up by her blade slipping into her other hand as she goes to drive it into the armiger’s shoulder.

Translocation saves it from the majority of her strike, but she feels the connection even as her adversary crackles away. It -

- orange light that spread across its limbs.

But something is off. It’s not enough to distract her, even as the light crackles blue for barely a millisecond. Something else was going on. Something that would have to wait. She files it away for later as she drives a fist into the machines -

- her, nearly splitting her in two as it skims across the battered plating over her SPI. Warnings flare across her HUD at the contact, something easily ignored as her attention utterly homes in on the armiger. Its form is as pristine and smooth as all the rest she’d seen, right down to the angry -

- Smith and Clark with a single raised finger. Metal feet buzzed into existence with a deadly sweep of bladed light as Kaja dances around its strikes, closing the distance fast.

A load thud followed by a Human groan tugs at her ears, but there’s not much she can do. Another strike sweeps towards -

Orange light dances through the air. Sparks flicker and crackle, bypassing the small portion of cover the thinning corridor granted them. The cause boldly lands between Kaja, Smith and Clark locking them into a close quarters fight.

Before the armiger's reform, Kaja indicates her intentions to -

It's already half gone. As she polishes off the remainder she gives a thumbs up.

Quickly nabs one.

Cleaning her gear yet again. Brutes are so messy.

- moving.

"We'll see how quickly I get back into it."

"Guess so," she offers a shrug. There wasn't really a reason to say no, not when she'd suggested it in the first place.

And, maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

"It's been a while since I've run any with anyone," she admits as she motions for them to get -
