Also, my family and I have lived in Portugal now for a year and a half so we probably did miss some of the post election mess... on purpose.

Nothing. Nothing will be done to prevent it and when it happens all hell is going to break loose in the US. This is likely, the only path forward. No one in power will stop it. They are creating the chaos.

Hahaha, nice thought but 1 flight attendant for every 50 passengers (FAA rule) can't monitor this in a real way without causing a jam at the exit. I think the airlines should fine each passenger who exits with their luggage in an emergency.
