I take adult classes at the Honolulu Museum of Art School for fun- mostly figure drawing so far. They do a thing each quarter where you can submit one of your pieces from class to hang in the gallery for the next quarter. Here I am at the opening today with my piece.

Tbh, it wasn't deliberate. The ref image I used had even more dramatic shading on the left side of her face and neck, obscuring most detail. But to your point, I could have done more with that. Perhaps I still will! I did take liberty in elongating the neck. Room to improve. I appreciate the comment
