Fascinating how corporate hubris spectacularly backfired on Micky Ds. Gobsmacking side story too, I won't spoil it. Recommended 6 eps.

WooHoo, Just won the eBay wool auction for less than 8% of retail. As the auction was ending, there seemed to be a lot of views and I freaked out a bit, last minute ambush maybe? Then it dawned on me, all those extra views were me! Didn't I feel like a silly sausage!!

OK, just what the hell is going on weather wise. A few hours ago it was a beautiful sunny morning, now its pissing down freezing, only 22°C, and blowing a gale. No one forecast this abomination. Unacceptable, call the manager!

Quick tip. If you've bought your weight in cinnamon donuts last time you shopped and chucked them in the freezer. 20 seconds in the microwave for 2 and they're just as warm and fluffy as they were fresh.

This is getting exciting... Put an EBay bid on $1000 worth of wool skeins days ago, I'd say the shop is closing. The time left is down to hours to go and I'm still the highest bidder. Set a timer on my phone in case some Karen barges in to fight me for it!

Since I got up at 5.30 this morning and avoided a wee nap this afternoon it feels like I've been up for days. Got 45 minutes to wait till it's dark and I can go to bed! Exciting Saturday night eh?

I've got a new limpet. This is Bear. For some reason he has decided that sitting on the arm of the sofanext to me is his new favourite spot. He is such a gentle wee soul too.

Just finished a massive project that I think I'm going to hate. It's taken the best part of a year off and on. I take time out because of the weight knackering my neck as it grows. I'll pin it to the studio wall tomorrow and get a good look at it then decide. Not hopeful!!

The formula we use to feed orphaned rhinos is tailored specifically to their nutritional needs – and different from what we give orphan elephants. We've successfully hand-raised 20 rhinos to date – this critically endangered youngster is Chamboi (filmed in 2024). Meet him: swt.bio/chamboi

Curious about this green bean casserole I've seen everywhere so I looked it up. This was the top recipe. Predictably american: 1 can green beans, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, I packet shredded cheese, 1 packet French fried onions. mix slop together and bake, sounds fucking disgusting!!

Lunchtime quandary....
Made lunch, chicken schnitzel, tomato and coleslaw roll, delish. Tiny fruit fly suicides in a fresh steaming cup of coffee. What do you do, ditch entire cup and make fresh, or fish it out and carry on?

Priorities! Watching some asian news chanel english broadcast I won't name. Reading between the lines there are probably around 350 dead in the Hong Kong apartment fires but the take home message was a major road is closed and traffic in the area is a nightmare. Good heavens!
