Mayor Eric Adams reportedly told at least one member of the City Council he would restore cuts to their favorite programs if they agreed to vote against a police transparency bill
NYC councilmember says Adams tried to stop policing bill by horse-trading budget cuts. It failed.
Adams’ efforts came as he slashes funding for city services, including schools, libraries and parks, due to what his administration has called a fiscal crisis.

Yall I made it into Amida Care's 2024 Calendar TWICE, March and December! I was never notified of anything and thought I hadn't managed to make it so when I opened it I was just going to check out the artists who did, so when I saw my work twice I was overcome with happiness
