If a company sends me the wrong item, I don’t have to inconvenience myself to return it. Sure, I will set it on the step for them to pick up, but I’m not reboxing a piece of furniture bigger than me, and waiting around during a three day window for them to come get it. Screw that.

I just loved the intimate moment in Deliver Me From Nowhere where Jon and Bruce are sitting on the floor together, listening to music touching hands. Springsteen’s non toxic masculinity is one of his best qualities.

They think anyone that doesn’t want 40-11 photos of someone who “maybe was your grandmothers cousin or something” does not really love their family. And if you don’t want to hold on to that cool whip container and paint it and make a cord corral out of it… then you lack imagination.

I come from high functioning hoarders. I don’t know if its nature or nurture or a combo, but I struggle with the tendency myself. There is a minimalist inside me fighting to get out, but the hoarder contingent in our world really believes they are God’s people.

I was watching a recorded 2022 concert. The band congratulated everyone for keeping each other safe & for coming out on the other side. It was a reminder of how we never got to celebrate what we did during the pandemic. We kept the hospitals open. We saved lives. We sacrificed. We got mocked for it.

I’m beyond excited about Deliver me from Nowhere, but what is this love story element? Who is this woman? Am I missing something or is this totally made up? I’m not surprised that Hollywood needed a romantic subplot, but who is this supposed to be?!? I have questions!

I was raised to think that if you are smart & competent you don’t need to be defensive. If a doofus at work rants about something, critiquing you while also just being wrong, you can move on and eventually the continued competence will speak for itself.
This is not true. Doofuses rule, often.

I’m said this multiple times now, but I think about the friends, family and relatives I quietly unfriended because of politics over the years. I regret that now. I wish I would have told them to their face what I thought of them. And then unfriended them.
