I had a garden space for which I had no real plan. So, I tossed a pile of wild flower seeds onto it in the spring to minimize the barrenness. Zero regrets. #gardening

I built a small ecosystem. I started with ants, removed grass and filled the area with flowers of all types. Then came the aphids. Sooo many aphids. And then, hover flies. And now ladybugs. #bugs #ecosystem #flowers

Even tho my son is a young adult now, he still needs to remember that one needs to practice new skills to develop and, hopefully, master them. Today, I handed him a giant, dense, sourdough hockey puck from my oven and told him, "I know how to bake bread."
He nodded. I nodded.

Freddie was born on a farm with sheep and horses. They had an aunt,in the form of a very devoted dachshund bitch. She taught those pups how to go to ground. It was a danish gårdhund bitch that taught him how to dig - and respect small dogs. #dogsifbluesky
