What do you mean I just got a letter that I won the NYC housing lottery for a second time this year and this one is to get on the waitlist to buy a studio apartment for $11,000???? I’m moving in a month to my rented housing lottery apartment!

I did it. I told my landlord I was leaving at the end of December after 24 years of living here and I think he might be in a bit of shell shock since the call lasted about 1.5 minutes and was mostly him just saying okay, okay. But you gotta do what you gotta do. Whew.
