I'm becoming almost apoplectic over anaemic response of Canadian elites to Trump's talk of making Canada a 51st State! Politicians, business leaders & journalists seem desperate to explain it away. They say it's Trump negotiating or they say they don't know. It's NOT complicated.

I'm trying to find Canadian toothpaste. One might be Altitude of Montreal. Neither Altitude nor their founder JF Bernier seem to have MSM articles or any social media presence. Is this company legitimate? If not there are a couple of British alternatives. I'm not stuck with American Crest & Colgate.

Polls seem to suggest that 1/2 of canadian voters want Pierre Poilievre CPC to run Canada with a massive majority, tomorrow. I think what the vast majority of Canadians want is a centre-right alternative to the current left leaning Trudeau led liberals. I think CDNs want Red Tories or Blue Liberals.

Liberals are flirting with the idea of electing someone as leader & Prime Minister who could best be described ideologically as a Progressive Conservative. That person's former BC Premier Christy Clark. Maybe a better Liberal-Conservative choice is Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford to be Prime Minister!

Canada needs a Prime Minister that commands the respect of all of Canada's Premiers, one that has a shot at uniting the majority of Canadians in the up-coming election. Canada needs a PM with a plan to build up Canada. Today, one person looks like that.. Ontario Premier Doug Ford.

Zero chance that PM Ford led LPC would deal with NDP. There would definitely be an election. He's ready! He had already planned for one in Ontario. CDNs are hungry for Canadian-style conservative choice rather than American. My bet is that PM Doug Ford led #LPC would win re-election in a landslide.

Argument that's frequently made by mainstream media is that no federal leader can win over Quebec if he can't speak french. I think that's false! Quebec wants to have clout in Ottawa. That means a strong voice at the cabinet table. What's needed is a duo like Macdonald & Cartier!
