people who are this militant about their tags could simply make their own archive with a tos that requires those tags. ao3 will never be what they want and creators have the right to forgo whatever tags they want for any reason without being bullied.

makes me think about how i bookmarked an old favorite fics from when i was a teen by an old fandom great and it (and indeed all her other works, new and old) looks like this. not even the ship! support writers’ right to opt out if they choose, know the archive guidelines and browse accordingly! ^__^

We haven’t talked except ao3 comments but I’m pretty sure MelonSloth would be down to join the union and if he adds the tag on its fics we should have enough for tag wranglers to approve a request (which takes 3 or 4 weeks in my experience) 😈

This is good: Rep Eric Swalwell tells me House Dems are now discussing making an end to mask-wearing a precondition for ICE funding.

"When we are in the majority, the masks are coming off," he says.

This is the next frontier in anti-Trump resistance.

Furina’s like a lenticular picture, where what you see of them—masculine or feminine—is completely different depending on the angle you’re look at, but those elements will always be part of the whole picture, whether you can see them or not

imo a canon accurate description of Furina’s gender presentation needs to acknowledge they’re neither strictly masculine or feminine and instead a lot of both, depending on how you look at them. it’s one of the contradictory elements meant to underscore the theme of duality in their character

it kind of cracks me up a bit when people call furina masc because speaking as someone who’s been writing furina as he/him transmasc since 2023 that guy is not masc 😂

i feel like people almost only use that for total au (as in, not genshin universe at all, not canon divergence) stuff where they're different people either for plot reasons or the author wanted to include foca where she otherwise just couldn't be featured bc her situation wouldn't fit the au
