New Research Thread🧵:
We examine the spatial patterns and eviction rates of single-family landlords in the Twin Cities. We find Private Equity firms and REITs each have their own distinct geographies and evict tenants at higher rates than smaller landlords. 1/

I think the issue too is that they used ALL of their high leverage guys. It's a seven game series regardless and Uribe was coming off of a long outing. It's definitely a damned if you do/don't situation. I still would have saved one of Ashby/Megill/Uribe but that's just me.

This article is worth reading. The initial calculations, that data centers will depreciate within 10 years, are now estimated to be far too generous:

“But ten years, he now understands, is way too generous.

“I had previously assumed a 10-year depreciation curve, which I now recognize as quite unrealistic based upon the speed with which AI datacenter technology is advancing,” Kupperman wrote. “Based on my conversations over the past month, the physical data centers last for three to ten years, at most.””
