If by any chance the Producers of @bbcaq read this, would they care to explain why another #GB"News" bod is on your panel. Tonight it's the turn of #ChristopherHope the Political Editor. #GBeebies Political wing #Reform UK Ltd would close down the BBC at the first opportunity. So why have them on?

In his press conference #NigelFarage extolled the advantages of crypto currency and how the UK in future should be at the heart of it.
Is it that Nigel has been looking enviously across the pond at the Trump crime family and how much they pull in from Crypto.
Nigel fancies a piece of that I think.

@OFCOM sees itself as an Umpire when it should be acting like an Enforcer. That was the view of an interviewee on Radio4 this morning when discussing the new rules covering online porn sites.
This explains why @gbnewsonline.bsky.social gets away with breaches of the rules. OFCOM doesn't really care.

@uklabour.bsky.social
#rachelreeves

If all this kerfuffle about wether Reeves lied or didn't lie about the state of UK finances, one thing is surely clear.
We need to go back to the days of pre budget purdah when nothing was leaked about the contents of the upcoming budget.
Don't need this again.
December 1, 2025 at 10:06 AM
Is the shortage of pundits so great that the BBC has to keep scraping the bottom of the barrel to get @gbnewsonline.bsky.social pundits to put on their shows?. This morning @bbc5live.bsky.social put on Mathew Lazza to talk about workers rights legislation.
Was their really nobody better available?
November 28, 2025 at 10:03 AM
I've read on here that #RachelReeves, Chancellor of The Exchequer, refused to take a question earlier from @gbnewsonline.bsky.social Political Editor #ChristopherHope. If true, then good on her. No Labour politician should be taking questions from, or appearing on, that squallid, dumb arse channel.
November 26, 2025 at 10:08 PM
Hasn't taken long for those self appointed experts at #GBNews to come out and rubbish the report into the #Covid pandemic along with it's author. At the same time those "experts" in Epidemiology & Virology are praising the #Trump administrations handling of the outbreak.
They really are a disgrace.

Football's governing bodies show
yet again that they hold fans in contempt.
#UEFA confirmed that from 27/28 season #ChampionsLeague to be shown on #Paramount and not #TNT.
So to watch #PremierLeague #FACup #ChampionsLeague I need to subscribe to:
SKY SPORTS
TNT
AMAZON
PREMIER SPORTS
PARAMOUNT

#GBeebies reporting that America's #FCC are launching a probe into #TheBBC. Damn yanks getting above themselves again. The FCC surely don't have any juristiction over the BBC or any other UK broadcaster. IF they do decide to go after the Beeb, then UK Govt need to tell them where to get off.

@ukgovernment.bsky.social are currently debating the introductory statement on #AsylumPolicy.
Prime territory for @reformuk.bsky.social you would imagine.
But watching tv the only reform MP present in the chamber is Sarah Poachin. No 30pLee, DickyTice and no Farridge.
So what good are Reform?
November 17, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Just seen five minutes of @gbnewsonline.bsky.social interview with #DonaldTrump. BevTurner had her nose wedged so far up Trumps backside she could tell if he needed a crap ten minutes before he did it.
I doubt Trump will ever get a more sycophantic interviewer.
Five minutes, more than enough.
November 15, 2025 at 12:58 AM
Not again!

Another @reformuk.bsky.social talking head on BBC #PoliticsLive
Today it's the turn of ex Tory #TimMontgomery

It's no surprise that Reform are so far ahead in the polls, viewers can be forgiven for thinking they're the only show in town.

And they will still want to defund the BBC.
November 13, 2025 at 12:22 PM
1 off 3:
During the #TrumpEdit scandal the #BBC has been giving over an abundance of air time to both it's supporters and detractor's so that BBC viewers and listeners have access to both sides of the story. I can't think of any other broadcaster who would open themselves up to such scrutiny.
November 12, 2025 at 1:38 PM
Yet again @reformukscotland.bsky.social have a spokesperson on #PoliticsLive.
Is it any wonder that people are loosing faith with the national broadcaster.
No wonder the LibDems / Greens / Nationalists are pissed off. I would be too.
GBeebies is Reforms own propaganda channel, keep them on there.

@bbcnewsnight.bsky.social
I found it difficult listening to Trump fanboy Jacob Rees Mogg airing his opinions about alleged BBC bias.
When a presenter on GB "News" has the cheek to lecture the BBC on bias then I just had to reach for the mute button on my remote.
November 10, 2025 at 10:57 PM
A programme on the #BBC said something that hurt the feelings of #Trump. So much so that the dementia riddled orangutan is clutching his pearl's in horror.
To mitigate this he's reportedly looking to sue the BBC for $1bn. Good luck with that old lad.
He's only president of the US not anywhere else.
November 10, 2025 at 4:42 PM
Dipped into @gbnewsonline.bsky.social and their ongoing criticism's of the BBC. Can't stand listening to such hypocrisy from what is a propaganda vehicle for the far right / Christian Nationalist's in the UK.
GB "News" can't demand the BBC be perfect when their journalistic "standards" are a joke.
November 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM
#BBC DG and CEO of BBC News have both resigned. Needless to say the usual right wing talking heads have joined in the pile on. Watching @gbnews.bsky.social and their reaction they need to be careful because if we apply the same standards to GB News that we're applying to the BBC they'd be stuffed.
November 9, 2025 at 9:13 PM
@dcmsgovuk.bsky.social Secretary @lisanandymp.bsky.social said on the Kuennesberg programme that she was disappointed that @ofcom.bsky.social decided NOT to go ahead with proposals to stop politicians presenting the news.
Maybe then the time to replace the senior management team at OFCOM is overdue.
November 9, 2025 at 9:27 AM
You know, I can remember a time not too long ago, when a Minister of The Crown would resign as a matter of honour, if something went seriously wrong on their watch.
Justice Secretary #DavidLammy can't stay in his job after three "accidental" releases of dangerous criminals.
Public confidence gone.
November 5, 2025 at 6:12 PM
A suggestion to @uklabour.bsky.social about Deputy PM #DavidLammy. Next time the PM is unavailable, don't let Lammy within a mile of The Commons. By trying to be clever today all he's done is make himself look stupid and shifty. Labour already has a credibility problem, Lammy shouldn't adding to it.
November 5, 2025 at 3:22 PM
The next time @gbnews.bsky.social pundit #WillKingston finishes a shift he should go to Paddington Station where he can get a train to Heathrow and then a plane back down under. All he seems to do is whine about the UK and the people who live here. If that's how he feels then good riddance to him.
November 4, 2025 at 10:41 PM
@gbnewsonline.bsky.social going up a gear with their anti BBC rhetoric. But surely any issues with editorial standards at The Beeb must stem from the fact that senior management is filled with Tory place men with no experience of real public service broadcasting.
Doubt GBeebies will tell you that
November 4, 2025 at 3:31 PM
It was @conservatives.bsky.social who raised VAT from 8% in 1979 to the 20% it is today.
The Tories have always favoured increases to VAT when they needed to raise money. @uklabour.bsky.social have chosen rises to National Insurance Contribution's as there preferred cash raising vehicle.
November 4, 2025 at 1:23 PM
Much is being said about #rachelreeves raising taxes and therefor breaching a pre election promise.
SO WHAT!
I can remember the 1979 election when @conservatives.bsky.social denied claims they would need to double VAT. What did they do, raise VAT from 8 to 15%.
And they won the next three elections.
