the other bolt is completely rusted through and no matter how much I apply force to it with the pipe wrench rubber glove method I can't get enough grip to keep the bolt still

holy fucking shit I did it

took a rubber glove and a pipe wrench and pushed the glove into the bolt with all my might while turning the nut with pliers. I had to bend it so much I was afraid of breaking the box

I'm replacing these fucking things with normal bolts

the bolt and nut have been removed and are now at the bottom of the case

how the pipe wrench had to be attached in order to get enough force on the bolt to keep it still while turning the nut. the bottom jaw is pushing against a rubber glove which pushes up against the nut to provide friction. the top jaw is on the other side of the box

fixing up this box I got. want to remove the velcro someone has glued on the inside. it's under one of those ungrabbable bolts and when I rotate the nut, the bolt rotates with it. can't get the bolt tight enough by pulling on the velcro to have it stay in place while rotating the nut. what do?

two bolts with round heads in a padding lined box. under one of them is a velcro strip

the nuts on the other side of the bolts. they're attached to a hinge pin
