I have some adjunct work starting in January, which is better than nothing. But I can't say I'm looking forward to it the way I have in the past. I also can't shake the feeling that my colleagues are looking down on me for being a failure.
Perhaps it's time to move on to something else.

There were hurricane-force winds in Colorado (125mph), resulting in widespread power outages. The NTP (Network Time Protocol) servers at NIST in Boulder are offline as a result.
