#LFC still in the shit, but they ground out their first PL road win since September. The headline is Isak finally scoring — and a beauty it was — but Wirtz was excellent. Konate good for a change, & defense didn’t allow a shot on target. West Ham was bad. Salah an unused sub. Debate, discuss.

Can someone explain why Everson has a kid playing his second NHL game on the ice in overtime? On the first shift! That’s on the coach. #CBJ

Have few good things to say about Chris Drury’s tenure as #NYR GM, but he nailed the Vladislav Gavrikov signing. He’s been excellent in partnering with Adam Fox, whose play has rebounded after a subpar 2024-25 season.

Another calamitous night for #LFC. Not long ago, Liverpool would have feasted on such a wide-open game, but that’s a distant memory. Both center backs w/ horrific mistakes leading to goals. The van Dijk handball was schoolboy stuff. Hugo injured. No poise in the final third. (1/2)

The Bears have become the NFL’s Great Entertainers. Every week a high-speed chase on a two-lane road thru mountain switchbacks.

Tweeted this three months ago. Looking back, the day Spurs lost the race to Eze is the day Arsenal won the Premier League title. What a player.
Eze to Arsenal is a huge get. I was hoping he would go to Spurs instead. Eze might be the missing piece in Arsenal's title aspirations.

In a Premier League increasingly defined by power & pace, #LFC have neither. They lack dynamism and physicality. Liverpool no match for Forest after first 30 minutes. Concede 1st again. Undone by set piece again. No answers for low block again. Isak offers nothing again. Defensively fragile again.

Assuming they score, it would be beneficial if #LFC did it first against a Forrest side that’s given them problems even in the best of times. Hopefully, the return to Anfield & the return of Alisson can help change fortunes. Speaking of fortunes, Isak - he of 1 goal vs a Championship team - is back.

RIP Larry Brooks. The Hall-of-Fame hockey writer was tenacious and fearless in pursuing a story. He also was a great guy. Brooksie embodied the best qualities of the sport he covered. #NYR

Masterclass from City. Doku ran thru entire #LFC side. Reds have become a dreadful road team. So passive — as highlighted by 1st goal when Liverpool had City trapped in corner and 22 passes later it was in the net. Konate w/ another nightmare performance.

#LFC getting their asses handed to them by City, but that’s a brutal offside call to wipe out Reds goal. Robertson was not in the eye line of keeper.

Fantastic series. Sucks to lose it late, but Hell Is Real lived up to its billing. #Crew96.

This tweet did not age well, but I’m still backing Arsenal to win league.
Yes, Arsenal made some big additions in the offseason, but as importantly they didn’t sell anyone of significance. Tossard being a prime example. They’re gonna be runaway Premier League champions.

Happy to see Stephen Warnock getting bigger Premier League assignments. Best color analyst going.

#LFC follow best game of the season w/ their best game of the season, 1-0 over Real in CL. MacAllister, who embodied Liverpool’s early struggles w/ second excellent effort, including winner. Take a bow Conor Bradley. Terrific against Vini Jr. Wirtz very good. Courtois only reason RM kept it close.

The Bengals defense looked buttoned up today compared to Cincy’s MLS outfit tonight. #Crew96
November 3, 2025 at 1:27 AM
#Crew96 have been relentless. They have contested every ball, been first to virtually every 50–50 ball. Could have sat back up two goals and a man. Nope. They have put their rivals to the sword.

When Cincinnati FC saw Wilfried in that white turtleneck, they should have just got back on the fucking bus. #crew96

Max Arfsten, you magnificent bastard. Nice finish off a great hustle from Rossi. Finally capitalizing from all that possession. #crew96

We’re about 40 minutes from kickoff for Game 2 of first-round MLS playoff series between #Crew96 and Cincinnati. Cincy can end Darlington Nagbe’s career tonight. Look to thedisrespected.com for coverage.

The Bengals are the Great Entertainers of the NFL. They aren’t very good, especially defensively, but you can’t take your eyes off them because of the crazy shit that happens in their games.
