#freecadfriday modelled Inlays for my spice rack to prevent all those spices from tipping over as they were only resting on two wires. The entire print took around 24h due to all the hexagons 🙈 #3djgummikuh
Photo of my spice cupboard. 4 Floors (plus one ground level) that are not particularly organized xD Screenshot of the rack inlay. It is designed such that two prints placed face to face fit into the rack. underlying geometry causes the print to lock in place on the wires of the original rack.

Built something useful for once. A FreeCAD design I did on the left, and the finished thing on the right. Freshly out of the oven. Simple, but super effective for organization (which I needed). Glad to confirm I can sometimes do useful things :D Pretty happy with my results.
A side by side picture. On the left, a 3D model I made in FreeCAD of a drawer set, on the right, the real thing built in raw MDF wood. It has 6 shallow drawers, and it's very boxy, almost cubic, with 3D printed handles on the drawers in red color. It also has 4 wheels on the bottom to roll it around. Inspired by those metallic tool boxes you find in mechanics workshops.
