We are the sum of choices in life. This has always been a favorite spot when visiting Mom. The last covered bridge in WI, located between Cedarburg & Grafton. Also: the salmon are spawning on the Milwaukee River. You can see them at Riverside Park in Theinseville.

Tired of the black helicopters flying over Chicago? We have found peace in the non militarized pumpkin fields of Wisconsin. For now.

My daughter yesterday living her best life in the magnificent city of Chicago only to be told that she was visiting a communist hellhole overrun by Venezuelan gangs & that this beautiful place needed to be militarized ny the Texas National Guard. “With fear for our democracy, we dissent.”

We are in route for a 3-week stay in MKE, Chicago & MSP. I travel back to the US often, but, now, these visits feel different: militarized streets, media crackdowns, sham prosecutions. Somberly, I said goodbye to each horse, alpaca, llama, dog & cat individually. Daddy will be home soon. I promise.

Good morning! Eldfara is interested in starting a podcast series called, “Fire Travelers in Patagonia.” I’m thinking about it 🤔.

Let’s see how many of my MKE peeps recognize this local legend, who happens to be my best friend, seen here with me in Futa last year. It’s his birthday today 😀🤗

Winter at Pinilla Lake, Futaleufú, Chilean Patagonia.
I stopped about 5 years ago. It wasn’t even a protest. I just wasn’t laughing anymore.

Generally, we have 26 monthly flights from Buenos Aires to Esquel, Argentina. For 1 month in spring, we have 68 flights. Why? The rising demand to see the tulips in Trevelin. This lovely story is about a man, his family & their dream to plant flowers. Follow your dream & the world will come to you.

The first spring wildflowers in Patagonia are always the “retamos”’ seen here along the Espolon River in Futaleufú. In a few weeks they will be joined by the blood orange embrothium &, then, the ubiquitous purple lupines. These blooms intersect in Nov. & Dec. which is a nice time to visit Patagonia!

As founding members of the Icelandic community in Chile, Sprengjia & Hrimdaeg wish all Chileans a happy “Fiestas Patrias.” Please celebrate safely and in moderation 🤗😀
We have Chilean versions of their Icelandic names that are easier for our staff to pronounce: Hrimdaeg is pronounced “Grimda” and Sprenjia is “Spreñia”
