I would say check protondb.com and see if the games you play run well with proton (the thing that linux uses to pretend to games that it’s windows), there are occasionally games that just don’t work yet and if it’s a big one for you then you might want to stick with windows, but that’s pretty rare

I could say “if you’re willing to spend a little more time finding out how to do something you already know how to do on windows then linux is a really fun, new but familiar way to use your computer” but I just feel that’s secondary to the main issue really
