It's been a brilliant start to the season with a very sociable friendly against a team from our local pub, The Golden Lion. Great to have them and their new management Annie, Esme and Julian so involved in the club this season

Two matches so far and two wins! We made heavy weather of chasing down Newton Poppleford's 118 on Sunday. Sam Thayre's 4 wickets earned him the player of the match award. Yesterday we defended a modest 81 from 15 overs in the gloom against the @metoffice.bsky.social cricket club

When I wrote to the Government about Tipton St John primary, I hoped they would see the necessity of rebuilding the school in the village and outside of the flood zone. I will keep pushing to enable local children to carry on attending school in their own village.
