My new interface to the world at large. Framework 16. Nearly a week in and very pleased so far!
Note: When you run this command, it will take a while and your CPU will work hard since it builds everything from source.

Thanks so much to @[email protected] for this amazing and far reaching contribution to #QGIS !
Great news for NixOS and nix users wanting to run bleeding edge, unreleased versions of #QGIS As of today you can now simply run this command to run the latest version of #QGIS in git:

nix run github:qgis/QGIS#qgis

What a huge improvement! From my experience so far , non English speakers are far more occupied with “joy of life” topics and spend less time trying to figure out how to screw over the planet and each other. Well at least that is what comes through in my feed…hope others have the same experience!
Since I got onto Bluesky I have been battling to filter out all the shitty amerocentric news that is irrelevant to my life and full of negativity and makes me depressed. A couple of weeks ago I changed my Bluesky settings to show me only Portuguese and Afrikaans in my feed as well as folks I follow

🙏🏽Thanks to @[email protected] for implementing this, and @underdarkGIS and @mbernasocchi for helping to plan and review the overhaul.
📰 #QGIS News: All of the #QGIS web sites just got their menus overhauled!

💁🏽 We hope you find navigating the QGIS web site a little easier with this update. The changes seek to harmonise the menus by grouping things more logically and removing less relevant menu items.
