@markcooperjones.bsky.social and @jayforeman.bsky.social have you any plans to comment on the incidence of vaguely-drawn bananas on maps to indicate areas of affluence/economic success. This ‘London Banana’ reminded me of the European ‘Hot Banana’ - even the Fertile Crescent is bananas! Any more?
You guys were great! Particularly enjoyed The nexus - those poor poor people who’d never seen TNG’s Sub Rosa and were stuck trying to figure out if you guys were doing a bit or if the entire episode is actually about ghostfucking!
I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one to remember that Jan Svankjmajer festival on Southbank as a kid @misterabk.bsky.social ! I think I must’ve been the only one who knew what they were in for, as I’d seen ‘Down to the Cellar’ when I was three which terrified and mildly obsessed me ever after
This was a fantastic listen! We rewatched yesterday in preparation for the episode and I’m so glad I did, flashbacks to 13 yo me and my friends at a sleepover birthday party watching this on video we got from Blockbuster and feeling naughty because it was a 15!
@johnfinnemore.bsky.social just saw this in a second hand bookshop in Rome. I didn’t know you had a Time Machine…

I’ve thinking a lot about Saturn @mikeduncan.bsky.social - are we going to find out more about how the blockade affected them? What about the Martians who had actually been sent there? The shift of powers? There must have been at least one ship between there and Mars, did they join?
@jagohazzard.bsky.social have you seen this?! Given the architecture of Albert Square it seems unlikely that the Queen Vic is my (fictional) local, although we do have Tredegar and Coburn Squares between us and Mile End. Can attest to the time distortion around Lea Valley though…
