New kipclip.com feature dropped! You can now read all your articles (links tagged with 'toread' or another tag of choice) in a new Reading list view which will show just those bookmarks and give them a bit more space. This is a first phase in some more upcoming reader specific improvements...

Always slightly suspicious of pay out comparisons. But have to admit Qobuz sounds better even to my untrained ears. And it’s EU based which is a nice bonus www.bloodinthemachine.com/p/a-complete...

3rd session back on the wall after breaking my foot. Fall way back in grades during recovery, but climbing again! Top grade bouldering here btw. Large, spacious, great routes and always something new

I've updated the OAuth permissions requested when you login to @kipclip.com to only request the account, blob & lexicon permissions we need to make the app work.
December 14, 2025 at 8:51 PM
I've updated the OAuth permission scopes for @dropanchor.app to only ask for permissions to write blobs and Anchor specific lexicon, plus we need permission to read/delete community address lexicon for a while until all checkins are migrated to the new checkin lexicon (migration happens on login)

Two new features:

Now, you can track progress on books you are currently reading. I'm using a similar shape to @popfeed.social's book progress tracking, which should make it easier to inter-op in the future.

We've also implemented proper OAuth scopes, which means minimal permissions to your data!

I caved and got rid of the admittedly quite jarring pink background and redesigned the overall look to be more 'standard feed social'. Feels a bit more calm now at least if a bit less original 😉

Doing this for my old Swarm checkins right now. Sadly do not have all the data from since Foursquare started, and I haven't used it much the past years, but it does go back to 2013. so cool little bit of personal history.

Keep running into these scenario's. No idea if anybody was pining for this particular feature but it's neat nonetheless.
In one of those 'you can just build it' moments @dropanchor.app now support @beaconbits.app checkins on your feed. All your beacons will be shown in your anchor feed (marked with the bb logo) and link back to the original checkin on beacon bits. Enjoy!

NEW: Five years of social media history is only a fraction of what the US Government will shortly demand of overseas visitors.

The full requirements will end tourism in the United States.

Below is the full, mind-blowing list.

iOS devs… I have a talk (“Building My Own GUI”) that I’d love to give in an online space - but I’m out of the loop - what’s going that would be good for this ?

It’s fair high level, but shows the SwiftUI like DSL I have and the process I’ve taken to get there.

I know this is an offensive thought to some mobile devs but for @kipclip.com I’m thinking about releasing an app to the stores by simply wrapping the web app in a native webview with something like Capacitator capacitorjs.com

Anyone here with experience with this framework?

there is more than interest, there are like, very aggressive plans. ;) just a complicated thing to do when you have a 15 year archive and lots of dependencies. if we were starting over today i think we'd start a bsky server instead of a website

The calls from America this weekend to "abolish the EU" are for one simple reason: the EU is the only thing that can keep European nation-states from becoming Russian or American vassals.
The US has declared rhetorical war on the EU
The calls from America this weekend to destroy the EU are revealing. They hate the union because it's the only thing that can keep European countries from being Russian or American vassals.
