I just don’t think people understand what we are losing with Hollywood burning down. It feels like the library of Alexandria burning but with movie history.

My unschooled daughter scored higher than everyone in her grade on the ELA portion of the PSAT in her first year of public school. That’s not nothing.

What Drake lawsuit is proving to me is that there are no shortcuts to greatness.
Had Drake not used ghost writers and perfected his craft over the last 15 yrs, created a Toronto sound, and made a hiphop scene in Canada similar to LA, he wouldn’t have to sue. He would’ve worked it out in the booth.

Can I brag for a second? My daughter, who has been unschooled pretty much her whole life, started public school for the first time as a junior in HS. She just got all As and a B on her first report card AND she scored the highest in her class on the reading portion of the PSAT! Let’s go!!!!!!!

From an evolutionary perspective, kids’ normal development would see them embedded in an autonomous child-led group of mixed age peers from dawn until dusk. Every day. My not-that-hot take is that neither conventional school nor homeschool accomplishes this well. #unschooling #selfdirectededucation
