i’ve legit had so much fun writing fanfics and coming up with writing prompts. probably the most fun i’ve had in my formative years, giggling to myself as i take my characters through different situations.

always thinking: “hey, what would be cool after this part?”

found some of my old writings in my notes app, and it’s reminded me to write more often. i gave up writing a long while ago b/c i was told it wasn’t good, and i was embarrassed by the material. it just felt so deep to my identity.

now i think i’d like to reclaim that part of myself.

TW: bite mark

i’ve recently had a really fun time bringing blacklights to hotels! mainly just to see where to avoid stepping… but every time i’ve booked a room with a couch, there has always been some sus stains on them

first time i’ve seen a whole ass bite mark with median tongue groove though :/

a blacklight shined at the edge of a hotel couch cushion. there is a greenish-yellow stain that resembles an open mouth. the teeth marks encircle another stain that seems to be from the tongue, pressed on the couch cushion for a long period of time - leaving a clear imprint of the medial groove.

these cushions were very rigid, so i still do not understand how they got this angle and clarity.

i’m also not a dentist, so i can’t tell if the direction of the bite is from the angle of this photo, or the other way around.

yes, i checked the other cushion.
yes, i sat on the cleaner side.
no, it was not the dirtiest couch/room i’ve seen.

malicious intent has yet to be determined.

back when i was an ~amateur writer~ i had this quote:

“He shook away the thoughts in his head like an Etch-a-Sketch. He could almost hear the rattle.”

it’s weird how that helps me visualize getting rid of intrusive thoughts. just a gentle “shk-shk-shk”

i just got my first StackOverflowException!! ik it’s a bad thing, but to me it feels like i hit a milestone of sorts. most of the programming i’ve done is with really small data sets, so i’ve never really noticed it until my current project. and with that, i’m closing the laptop for tonight 😮‍💨

i’ve always missed having dreams, now i’m on meds that being them back. i remember these somewhat-familiar places, in excruciating detail. i’m not complaining, by any means, but it makes me daydream sometimes about where/when they are.

they make it difficult to wake up sometimes…
