Out of an abundance of caution my Department of Public Safety is recommending that people do not attend any political rallies today in Minnesota until the suspect is apprehended.

Masked ICE thugs terrorized Chicago yesterday.

They lied to immigrants waiting for their court hearing by summoning them for “surprise check-ins” and then assaulted protesters and elected officials.

THIS IS WHAT FASCISM LOOKS LIKE.

I switched to Linux for my daily driver on jan 1st from mac. I've absolutely loved my Linux journey so far. I will say though, I really miss my mac's battery life. I really do lol

Think im dealing with a @bsky.app SDK bug.

Sometimes richtext.detectFacets() appends 2 extra characters behind a hashtag and sometimes it doesnt… its leading to a really annoying facet positioning bug for me.

Anyone know how to render a hyperlink as a word instead of the full URL with the BlueSky TypeScript API?

The URL facet is getting detected in my richtext but I cant seem to display the link as a single word instead of the entire URL.

I really wish @bsky.app would improve their golang quick start docs. Not sure why golang is completely missing from the quick start section, while a third party python library is included.

Im stuck building a bluesky bot mvp in typescript and pulling my hair out at ts being ts lol.

Cool so what happens if GOP attach a national abortion ban to a CR? You'll vote for that too?

🚮
My YES vote is *not* an endorsement of this deeply flawed CR.

My YES vote is 💯 about refusing to shut our government down.

I refuse to punish working families and plunge millions of Americans into chaos.

I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever vote to shut our government down.

In 2010, Aaron Swartz faced 35 years in prison for downloading 70GB of JSTOR articles. He died by suicide in 2013.

Meanwhile, Meta illegally downloaded 80+ TERABYTES of books to train AI models with zero consequences. The law doesn't punish corporations—only idealists fighting for open knowledge.

Really hoping GoLang adds forEach(), filter(), reduce() to it's stdlib. After living in functional land for a while now, idk if I want to go back to naked for loops for everything lol
