October 29, 2025 🧵 My latest acquisition is purple size 3 thread. Size 3 is a thick thread that’s comparable to the thinnest yarns.

The white thread is a different brand, same size but softer and fuzzier.

This is a quick project but still technically a WIP for this week’s #crochetaway 😊

A heart motif crocheted from purple thread with a white border, and a second unfinished motif without the border. The unfinished motif has two thread ends still attached. There is also a blunt needle in the photo.

October 18, 2025 🧶 Moss stitch in alternating colors makes a neat crenellated effect.

I’m thinking this might be the bottom of a crochet basket, but I might have to double up the yarn to get stiffer walls.

October 14, 2025 🧵 Trying out the leaning tower stitch, which is an extended double crochet with two more stitches placed in its base.

I’m delighted with these perfect little triangles.
