I just learned that if you were born in the U.S. and you are rounded up with noncitizens, the government can and will hold you in detention, by charging you with human trafficking, and it actually holds up for at least a few days. This is seen as completely legal. Why are we like this?

Absolutely nobody claims college is for everyone. Why are people so defensive about young people they know doing something else with their life. Just have your young people do their thing. You don't have to justify it by criticizing education.
