Will #Russia ever embrace common democratic principles? Maybe, but the day seems to be far and remote. Especially after a 21 year old woman gets convicted to 14 years in jail for running a Telegram channel called #MelitopolIsUkraine.

It might be time for the Europeans to shape up their defence and security organisation collectively so that they have the capacities to face whatever comes next.

If the recent “incidents” in Poland are any indication, time really is of the essence here.

Racism is an invention that serves the interests of those who have an interest in the exploitation of others who look different.

Autocracies and dictatorships do not deal in truths and facts, but ideologies. This is the reason why they always fail in the end.

The economic situation of #Russia and Putin’s attitude when faced with facts and figures is one more evidence of this trend.
