Natural resources, #mining in particular, can provide a critical source of public revenue to many countries, but more support is needed to address ineffective policies, tax avoidance and weak governance - should be a key goal for #FFD4
In our latest article, @thomaslassourd.bsky.social calls for #FfD4 to include resource taxation in its agenda, supporting countries to collect vital revenues for the #SDGs, climate, and nature goals.

I will be attending this week's PrepCom 3 - set to expand on discussions on a draft of the outcome document of the upcoming Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development. Looking forward to contributing to the ambitions of this process on domestic resource mobilization!
