#Psycho (1960) Seen for the umpteenth time, but first time in theaters! Unique experience courtesy of Caribbean Cinemas #RetroTuesdays. Loved it! #FilmSky

Nothing like listening to Bernard Herrmann's screeching violins in a live theater to buy off unhappiness. Gracias Caribbean Cinemas, Mario Alegre, and RetroTuesdays!

Santa Sangre (1989) was my first #Jodorowsky film and it has me longing for more. It is a visually striking film with a strong surrealist vibe and a heartbreaking story at its center. #FilmSky

A Close Shave (1995) might be my favorite outing from the Wallace & Gromit series. Whether it's slapstick, absurdism, visual gags, running gags, puns... it excels at all of them. #FilmSky

#Hostel (2005) was a bit of a chore to get through; not because of the gore, but because of the lack of tension and dread it has. It just felt like it was lumbering its way through. Meh. #FilmSky

Already today, Israel has:

-Conducted a drone strike on Khan Younis in Gaza

-Shot & wounded two others near Khan Younis

-Killed 5 Palestinians in Gaza City

-Fired on & wounded a several others near Jabalia

All in violation of the “ceasefire.”

I agree. Given the other special effects, I was surprised by the makeup.

Well, I should finally check out Young Frankenstein now! 👀 I caught about 2/3 of it on cable a long time ago, for some reason had to leave, and just never got back to it 😬

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1913) was a bit lacking, especially when compared to the 1912 version from Henderson. Still fun to check it out, especially in regards of the progress of #UniversalMonsters films.

A Grand Day Out (1989) was a brief detour from my horror-oriented schedule on behalf of one of my kids who's just loving these shorts (so am I!). Being the 1st one, it's a bit rough here & there, but still a lot of fun.

I'll admit that my experience with Diane Keaton was limited to a handful of films, and still I can say there was a unique energy to her that "forced" you to look at her. It's no wonder that the only time we see Michael Corleone smiling is when he's with her. #RIPDianeKeaton
