I Swear
What a brilliant film, I can’t recommend it enough.
Had me in tears multiple times throughout. A heartfelt, emotional watch you really shouldn’t miss.

Black Phone 2
A perfect example of why not every film needs a sequel. Nowhere near as good as the first. If you’re making a horror where the villain appears in dreams, you might as well bring back Freddy Krueger.

Roofman
Marketed like a goofy comedy, but it’s actually more serious in tone. If you’re expecting laughs, you’ll be disappointed. Ultimately quite forgettable, not one I’d rush to watch again.

Tron: Ares
Visually stunning and probably worth seeing in IMAX, but overall it’s forgettable and brings nothing new. Fans of Tron might enjoy it, everyone else can wait for streaming

The Smashing Machine

The story doesn’t hit hard enough, it never fully commits to the drug abuse or the fighting.
But The Rock is superb, proving he can truly act. Hopefully he gets the recognition he deserves.

One Battle After Another
I think people get carried away whenever Leo releases a new film. It’s good, but not the masterpiece some reviews suggest. I enjoyed it, though I wouldn’t watch it again.

Vice captain might encourage him to sign a new deal
Tonali would be my vote. Future captain

I think Murphy gets the nod on the right aswell
The Long Walk
Went in expecting big things after the early reviews, but it didn’t make me care enough about why they were doing this, it felt like a lot of backstory was missing.
From what I’ve read, the book is much better.

The Roses
Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch are both excellent. I wasn’t expecting much, but it had me laughing throughout.
I really enjoyed it and would recommend.

Caught Stealing
A good film with a real Guy Ritchie vibe. Definitely worth a trip to the cinema.

After a summer of failed attempts to land a striker, #NUFC have signed 23-year-old German international striker Nick Woltemade (Vol-tuh-mar-duh) from VfB Stuttgart in a club record £69m deal.

Let’s look at what the 6’6” striker, nicknamed "Wolte-Messi", will bring to St James’ Park 🧵
Jaws
A true masterclass, but you should already know that.
Watched it in 4DX for my first time and it was great fun. I’ll definitely be back for more 4DX action.

Eddington
Probably the worst film I’ve seen this year, easily could’ve walked out. Joaquin Phoenix was superb mind, but it’s 2h 30m I won’t get back. Don’t waste your time.

The Life of Chuck
A real letdown for me, it just didn’t work. I never felt invested in the character, and overall I wouldn’t recommend it.

Incredibly proud of the lads tonight.

Why would anyone not want to be a part of this? 🖤🤍🖤🤍
I'm no expert.
But I would think it would put off any other big investment coming in and taking over clubs that are outside of the top 6.
All the backing NUFC have and they still can't do it.
Completely agree, but it's the clubs that need to push back on it. Bar the cartel 6 the others need to make a stand
The Legend of Ochi
Full of character and style, with a visual approach that feels very Wes Anderson. Could’ve been better if it leaned more into the darker side of the story.

Keeping the status quo, as designed.

The Naked Gun
If you’re a fan of the originals, you’ll love this. It does a great job capturing the same spirit
I haven’t laughed this much at a film in ages, bet I missed loads of background gags too.
Made me want to watch the originals again.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps

Loved the 60s utopian style, looked great. Some of the CGI was a bit ropey, but the real letdown was the lack of action and a weak Johnny Storm. Expected more from Galactus. Another standard Marvel 6/10 formula

I Know What You Did Last Summer

A reboot attempt that links back to the originals quite well. Sadly, the horror/slasher side let it down. Lacked suspense and jump scares. Could’ve been much better.
