Final stop, less than half an hour from home. Sitting by Royds Hall Dam with the sun starting to get low, finishing the last of my coffee.

Not a bad spot to stop for a cup of coffee from the flask I’ve brought with me and a couple of biscuits (chocolate ginger). Then it will on through the last sections of woods.

Out for a walk along the Tinker trail down to the Judy Woods, enjoying the autumn sunshine before the weather turns tomorrow and we put the clocks back to GMT.

Skip is 3/4 full and there is definitely going to left over plant/garden waste. Hopefully it won’t be more than a bin full though.

Rain to too heavy to do more now. So skip now has a tarp tied over it, and I’ll get on with other things until the weather clears on Sunday

The skip is here. (And so is the rain) I’m thinking i should probably have ordered a bit bigger one, not 100% certain everything that needs to go will fit in. But in guess any additional plant waste can go in the monthly garden bin collection.

That’s a good chunk of it cleared - so many bags of brambles. Now to see how much of it is going to fit in the skip tomorrow.

Going to try to get most of it done tomorrow as soon as the skip is here. The weather for Saturday looks awful - high winds and rain - so no gardening that day.

A couple of days off work (I’d built up a lot of time in lieu when I’d worked extra hours training new staff last month)

So it’s tackling the more of the garden time. A mini skip is booked for tomorrow to take away brambles/old fence panels/bags of garden waste.
