cancer scan results: mets are stable. talked to oncologist and he said that for my case, they’re going for stable. since my liver is working fine still despite the mets, they’re not looking for therapy to reduce them but to just not have them grow. wasn’t aware of that. so that’s good news. :)

had therapy today, have my mri and ct scans tomorrow. i don‘t want to admit it but i‘m reslly nervous and hoping for a christmas miracle that the cancer‘s finally in remission.
obviously a continued stable disease would be nice as well bc stable is good, but I‘d probably be disappointed by it 🥲

did a lot of writing today for ‘there’s bones in my closet’ - there’s two options now. make it one chapter that will probably turn out at least 6k words but take me another week to write, or split it into two shorter chapters and post one sooner? both would work for the plot.

sometimes there’s free stuff at the cancer ward, small things like key chains or caps. today it was a basket of book pages with drawings on them and i snagged this masterpiece. 12/10, i’m obsessed and i WILL frame this and hang it on my wall.

bought a stationary advent calender in May that i usually wouldn’t have splurged on, but cancer had just come back and my reasoning was either i’ll be dead by Dec & don’t need the money, or i’ll be alive and happy about it
