I really don't get the "bluesky is boring" point
I feel like it's just an instant gratification thing because it takes a bit for your feed to get filled with stuff that you like
the only thing that I kinda hate here is that it's hard to get news for certain indie games because they only have tweebus

80% of the new mega designs range from meh to grody
like either their colors suck because they added a random color to the design that makes it too busy
or the design themselves are too busy
or they're just like too safe and boring

Anyways rants over I’m done being ranty now

Was able to pick up a new webcam from a second hand electronics store (thank you corromon)

Here’s a high quality pic of yesterdays WIP and also some design doc stuff from Parody Peak

Philosophy: just give the player cool tools to master because the game is about going fast and kicking ass
Most of them have played Pizza Tower Already so no need to force them to wear training wheels

Is like peps but had some quality of life changes from noise like uppercut cancelling
Down A is dashable out of at the end to make it feel better to use instead of only having momentum out of slopes

Will interact with things like ramps and rails differently

Jetpack and jump cancelling and such
Able to break steel blocks slowly when out of Mach speed

The B-Button

It goes mostly unused in PT so let’s make it a custom move button

A bunch of mods offer unlocks that usually change a key part of your moveset (like your grab or taunt) but I usually find those too different from what I like to use those so let’s make the B-button do something

You’ll be able to unlock differing abilities that are sort of like TF2 unlocks compared to the grab which is like Stock
Being really good in certain situations but bad in others with a bit harsher of a learning curve

But you get to have both equipped at the same time so that it is up to the player if they want to play it safe with a reliable grab or use their special move in order to do something cool or benefit more from a situation than their grab would a

A good player should be hitting both buttons

Example: Shabe’s chainsaw
Super safe on enemies, fast and puts you in Mach 4
But requires more space to use than down grab, bad against blocks and has limited fuel so you can’t spam it

I think the thing that makes me the most upset about the whole stuff that’s going on in the US is that it had to happen right after I got into art school with a scholarship I can’t pass up instead of during my gap year when I didn’t have academic responsibilities to tend to
