Apple season on #these6acres & the deer are very much in tune with the #season.
We do share (fawn munching in the background) but in moderation; too many apples isn’t healthy for deer & keeping some apples is healthy for us!
The land is so generous, let’s be generous too.

These abundant berries are so delicious, and so invasive.
They provide food for wildlife but also force out diverse nutrition from native species.
But wow do I love snacking on these beauties.

Seeing this doe emerge from forest to field was a beautiful way to end a productive day

🔥moved high risk tree debris to green waste area

Huckleberry Season on #these6acres.
