Rest in peace to D’Angelo, truly. He was my introduction to R & B / Soul as a whole and it’s difficult to state just how deeply his music left to me. He died at such a young age, man, it’s just not right how so many of these musicians are passing away before the twilight of their lives.

Drake really lost the lawsuit. It’s been almost a year, his birthday is within the next two weeks, and he lost the lawsuit…. wow. There are themes here that I am going to pinpoint when I get around to the final Drake post.

You could honestly extend this to most nations with roots in European civilization as of the past 400 years, I think. Dehumanization of black people was a big part of it, the US took it and built it into the system.
