Blue: I'm going to paint some miniatures.
Green, unseen in the background: Okay!

Picking up a miniature, Blue goes deep into focus, gently brushing the figurine with a paint brush, making a soft, quiet little "shup" sound every time.

Looking up from his work, Blue turns to listen as Green interrupts his work to say something.
Green: I like the little sound that your brush makes when you paint.

Blue lowers the miniature, looking at it with a frown.
Blue: Well now I'm too self-conscious about that to finish this.
Green: Aw.

As above, so below. No paint here, but still, a space dark coverlet, jewel-toned embroidery. "Stars" in configurations never seen before. Fire Dragon, and Quantum Mechanic. Scooby and crew. On an interplanetary merchant ship, strictly enforced rules and regulations are how a crew survives with ship intact and food properly rationed. Even so, each crewmember is allowed a few grams of paint and personal items for their bunk. What does your cot look like?
