The average age of U.S. homebuyers is now 56, up from 49 last year.

In 1981, the year trickledown economics began, it was 31.

$40 billion to bailout Argentina

$250 million for a White House ballroom

Who knows how much wasted to deploy the National Guard where there’s no need

But the Agriculture Department says there’s no money for SNAP-which feeds 42 million Americans

The Trump administration doesn’t care if we all die
On this trajectory, intelligence has no future in the U.S.
Not any more. Now the bunker is completely unprotected by a building above it. Just like a concrete tomb.
That isn't your run of the mill office building getting torn down. Do you see the thickness of the concrete pillars and the massive amounts of rebar?!
The East Wing was a fortress!!
No way some Trump team is going to build anything remotely that secure or strong. I can already see our dollars 💸💸.
I hope they choose to homeschool this child because there is no way it is going to survive middle school with that name.
The president is tearing down the White House to build himself a tacky gold ballroom to celebrate his 80th birthday.

I'm adding water to my lip gloss before I go teach middle school students how to read.

What hellscape world have I fallen into?
I'm just a simple middle school education specialist and I respond to every email/text from staff or parents with the thought that anything I write could someday end up on a big screen in a courtroom.

I guess I'll just end every email with..
BTW, this is off the record. 😂
He could never play poker.
Those long, slow blinks are his tell.

The longer he blinks, the bigger the lie.
I've heard of teachers getting fired for less offensive social media posts.
These are gorgeous!
Enjoy your Sunday!
This is something I am hearing from a variety of educators in a variety of areas. I wonder what is different this year than from previous years? I do not think I've ever felt this much heaviness in my career.

Found this video while explaining the Portland Frogs to someone. Enjoy!
Sir. If this costume causes you this much anxiety, I implore you. Please stay away from all middle school campuses. I would hate for you to have to look upon the numerous penis images scrawled on desks and walls. It may be too much for you to handle on a daily basis.
Can't lie. I giggled at the sight of two police officers walking a penis along the side of the road.
It's listed as an "unscheduled" closure for public safety, according to the Cal Trans website.
Going to challenge myself to do this at least once a week.
So simple.
So doable.
Small, simple thing that changes the way you move through the day: placing this sticky note front-and-center on my desk first thing this morning.

Made for a really nice Friday. ☑️ ☑️ ☑️
So simple. So doable.
Thanks for sharing!

During a shutdown, Congress needs to be treated like a sequestered jury

No one goes home until it gets resolved

Basic hotel

Basic meals

$50 per day payment
Feel sorry for all the small businesses that will be affected by this wasteful, narcissistic display.

While all students deserve safe, welcoming schools for relevant, engaging learning, kids with special needs have a right to an education that meets those needs. Their civil rights are being abandoned. McMahon should be ashamed. Thank you to AFGE for exposing this. abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics...

CBS reporter Edward R. Murrow embodied what a journalist should be: someone who holds power to account instead of capitulating to it.

Over 70 years later, his segment denouncing Joe McCarthy’s congressional witch hunts rings truer than ever.
