george clooney on ER is so fascinating because amid all the stories about him hiding script pages around the set and pulling practical jokes it’s easy to forget he was also giving a weekly masterclass and making it look effortless, and the writers were giving him the material

he had some pretty interesting thoughts on wizard of oz at the sphere and the issue of meddling with people’s art without their consent, and the use of actors’ likenesses after their deaths but I can’t stop thinking about how funny his reaction to david zaslav being inserted into the movie is.

really fascinated by the way everything James Cameron says gets taken as an attack on other filmmakers because how did this become him attacking Guillermo Del Toro’s Frankenstein, a movie which Guillermo likely would have wanted a wide theatrical release for.
