A fun part about Gundam's origins is that Tomino frequently got threatened with cancellation/had the show pushed back because it got too dark/mature. Oh how wrong Bandai was. Kids wanted to stay up later to watch it, adults took it more seriously. War model enthusiasts loved the kits.

Which like, by no means am I gonna tell you not to watch it. I just hope it isn't a bad experience as a return show. The other-other person who commented recommending IBO is on point though!-IBO is a self-contained series like Wing is!

I've been having some technical difficulties, but those aside, videos have been doing better! If you're a fan of Pick Three Rogue-Lites, that's what I've been making a lot of lately. Steer clear of STS and DD if you don't like politics though, my partner goes on tirades.

It's the whole "it was the wild west" mentality. Websites made to just host images of Sephiroth. Websites for unhinged diatribes about Nordic aliens. Websites for a single gif of an alien dancing. It was fresh, and new, and you never knew what was out there, but now it's just a California suburb.

I think part of the problem is no one wants to do that these days. Anyone can make a website, often for free, with little to no skillset. Even the most dog-shit barebones website had a soul back in the day now it is a template from insert-corporate-website-builder here. It's not new/intriguing now.
