I can relate to that. Mine started early. I was in Australia for 1.5 years and doing college prep (11th grade) and that was the end of any spelling prowess I might have had.

Mine quit paying me, but I was kind of slacking on my thesis. It did motivate me. I got done with a few dollars left to my name. Happily I found a job within a reasonable timeframe.

I just know when Apple auto munge can’t figure out what I’m looking for, I can search the same letters in Google and it’s all: we assume you mean this actual word! I’m like yes.
I suck at spelling.
Thumb typing on a phone doesn’t help me any.
