Y’all, have you seen a decorated Pholiota (Leucopholiota decorosa)? It’s definitely a sight to be seen! #mushrooms #fungifriends
Compare these to black staining polypores, looking in prime condition too!
Stay til the end to see what this weirdo #slimemold does - it always delights the kids and grosses everyone else out 😆

Sometimes it’s hard to believe that bird’s nest fungi are a real thing! #mushrooms #fungifriends
One of the prettiest mushrooms IMO!
I did too. Then I found a chocolate tube slime mold and was blown away. They are cool!
Ahhh, we're both wrong 🤦‍♀️I was apparently asleep when I was writing this 😂. It's Craterellus ignicolor
The veins of the yellowfoot chanterelle. Notice how thick and blunt they are compared to "normal" gills.

Nice find! It is rare to find oyster mushrooms without the lil bugs
Yeah, chicken of the woods is parasitic. And saprotrophic. It is infecting the tree. The good news is that it usually takes a long time (its a slow parasitization), so the tree might still live 10-20 years more (and produce the mushroom all that time 🤞). Eventually though the tree will die.
Woah! That chicken of the woods is STUNNING
Ha! Love the volunteer plants!!
Could be - would need to see the gills and possibly do a spore print. If the gills have any green or yellow in them, that's it

Looks like Leucocoprinus birnbaumii - they love to just show up and show off! A sign of healthy soil
Sure looks like that or in the same group with those pinkish pores
