Fall in New Brunswick is such a beautiful time of year. So many different colors in the leaves. Get out and enjoy them before there gone. @weathernetwork.bsky.social @themurphologist.bsky.social @natetwn.bsky.social @naturenb.ca @bradstorm19.bsky.social @stormhour.com @ryansnoddon.bsky.social
Hi Ian, I'm not sure Doug is on Blue Sky? I never see Doug as he works from home, but I'll shoot him an email. Sorry for the late response as I only check my Bluesky account periodically.

On July 16, daylight holds at 15h 28m 57s—25m 9s below the solstice max. Above-seasonal temps persist with sunny, smoky skies across NB. Despite haze, solar input supports localized warming. Daylight slowly declines. Autumnal equinox is 68 days away.

Spotted this big turtle in Public Gardens this morning. It'll have plenty of sun to soak in this week in Halifax #ShareYourWeather @themurphologist.bsky.social #Halisky @weathernetwork.bsky.social
Ominous day in Canadian weather history - 25 years ago today the Pine Lake #tornado destroyed the Green Acres Campground in Central Alberta, killing 12 people & injuring more than 100 others. It would be rated an F3 with wind speeds around 300 km/hr.

Icebergs are & have been for as long as I can remember a normal occurrence along Newfoundland's northeast coast. It's even called Iceberg Alley for a reason.
I'd have to look it up, but I would say probably. Last year and in years past, temps in the northern regions of NWT cracked low 30s. Is it becoming more common is the discerning part.
Well this is interesting...at least I find it so. Today, #OldCrow, Yukon has #heat warning. By Tuesday overnight, the temperature could be near 0°C! Risk of #thunderstorms on Tuesday for both sides of the 60th as the northern trough arrives. @weathernetwork.bsky.social
Humid air is on the way out & the price for the cooler air for some will be #thunderstorms. Best risk for severe weather today: south of #Montreal & #Quebec through the Eastern Townships. Anywhere a storm develops though has heavy rain potential. #onstorm #qcstorm
