08. Trick 'r Treat

A delightful weave of Halloween themed horror vignettes. Sam is an absolutely iconic character. The whole cast is great, but Brian Cox and Anna Paquin turn in standout performances.

07. Dangerous Animals (2025)

A refreshing new take on a shark movie headed by a tremendous performance by Jai Courtney. Sharks are scary, but they aren't the real monster in this flick. Absolutely worth a watch

Taking nods from the traps in "Escape Room" and the aesthetic of "Hell House, LLC", "Haunt" offers some terrifying moments with creative set-pieces and incredible prosthetics. Fun, disgusting, and creepy throughout.

You might recognize "A World of His Own" star Keenan Wynn from such films as "Dr. Strangelove", "Annie Get Your Gun", and "The Last Unicorn", but you may not know that his actual, full name is the much more fanciful "Francis Xavier Aloysius James Jeremiah Keenan Wynn". Yeah, we'd shorten it too.

This delivers on the premise immediately, and then exceeds expectations. Fun, charming, and actually hilarious at times, this is an easy add to your horror rotation.

An irreverent play on meta-horror in the wake of Scream (1996), Urban Legend has some fun moments. It really drags at points, but is held together by a stellar performance by Rebecca Gayheart.
